Three Knoxville Boys Soccer Players were recognized for not only their on the field play, but also for their performance in the classroom. Elliott Schmidt, Emmett Schmidt, and Joey Kesteloot were all selected to the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association first team Academic All-State team. All three had a major hand in helping the Panthers to their second ever state tournament appearance this spring. To be eligible for the Academic All-State a player must have a minimum 3.5 Grade Point Average and have participated in half of the school’s varsity match halves.
