Drivers in Pella will have a new location to get their licenses starting this month. Marion County Treasurer Michaela Bigouaette says that beginning on July 10th, their remote station will relocate to Room 200 in the Pella Community Center, which allows for a permanent spot for staff and equipment. She says transition will allow for expansion of services in both Pella and Knoxville as staffing allows in the future. The driver’s license station will be closed for the holiday and the move this week. Following the transition, staff from the Marion County Treasurer’s Office will be coming to Pella on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, as they have since March. The station will be open July 10th and 17th, and resume regular scheduling in August.
