The current plans for a new Warren County Engineer’s Shop include several more satellite shops spread throughout the county. Warren County Engineer David Carroll tells KNIA News the satellite shops will allow for larger areas to be covered and for quicker response times, and they will allow for more storage of gravel and equipment. The shop proposal is currently awaiting approval and funding from the Warren County Board of Supervisors, and is expected to cost approximately $6.5 million, with a scaled down version costing near $3 million.
