indianola-3

The Indianola baseball team will step out of Little Hawkeye Conference play for the next three games, starting Monday on the road at Fairfield. The Indians will take on a Trojans team that has been on fire as of late, winners of 11 of 12 only dropping a one-run game against Mount Pleasant. The Indians are also coming in playing well, winning four of their last five games and sit in a tie in the loss column atop the conference standings.

The Indianola softball team has already wrapped up the Little Hawkeye Conference championship, and will host second place Norwalk for a doubleheader Monday. The Indians have won 18 games in a row, not having lost since June 10th, and the doubleheader will wrap up their regular season. Game two of the series will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame is tentatively scheduled to begin at 7pm.
