With the regular season completed, the Twin Cedars Baseball Squad finishes at 12-11 and 10-8 in the Bluegrass Conference. That puts the Sabers fifth in what became a rather competitive conference at the top with Lamoni winning with a 14-1 record. The Sabers now look toward the class 1A district this weekend where they travel to Moravia to take on fellow BGC opponent Seymour on Saturday at five. The Sabers currently sport a 277 team batting average with 164 hits. TC has been one of the more aggressive teams on the bases with 127 steals in 138 attempts. A win by Twin Cedars on Saturday would put the Sabers in a game with either Central Decatur or Moulton-Udell next Monday back at Moravia.
