The Knoxville Baseball Squad split with Mount Pleasant last night in non-conference baseball action falling in game one 7-5 and winning game two 12-2. In game one, the Panthers shot out to the 3-0 lead only to see Mount Pleasant score runs in the second, third, fourth, and fifth innings to build up a 7-3 lead. Knoxville plated two runs in the top of the seventh but could not get any more home. Beau Leisure took the loss going five innings and striking out two. In the nightcap, the Panthers struck first and got up 3-1, then opened up the game with a five run fifth inning. Kaleb Streigle was 3/3 with an RBI, while Evan Eck was 3/4 with five RBI. Mike Hudson continued his brilliance on the mound going six innings allowing three hits and striking out four to get the win. The Panthers stay busy with a game against Indianola tonight.
