Once a quarter, the Indianola Chamber of Commerce asks Indianola residents to stay in town for they day for a Shop Local Saturday, with the summer event coming in two weeks on July 27th. Shop Local Saturday is going to be held in conjunction with the increased amount of visitors making their way to Indianola for the Warren County Fair and National Balloon Classic, and hopefully that week will be a big boost to the local economy. Local businesses will have daily specials during the event, which will run from 9am to 3pm.
