The Ride for the Cause returns to Pella to support Many Hands for Haiti and their ministry on the island nation. Tony Spiker helps organize the event and says they brought back a motorcycle ride after he had a conversation with Darryl De Ruiter and the needs of the group in Haiti. Spiker says proceeds will be used to purchase motorcycles for ministers and others to use on the rough terrain between villages. The event will be held on Sunday, July 28th at noon at Federated Fellowship Church in Pella, with participants encouraged to attend the church service prior to the ride. The 2-3 hour event includes time for a meal at an area restaurant, with an ice cream social to follow at the church. Registration can be done online at the Many Hands for Haiti website, and is open to all in the area, if they have a car or motorcycle.
