The Warren County Fair officially begins one week from today, running until Monday, July 29th. Jo Reynolds with the fair tells KNIA News Warren County will have a chance to showcase their hospitality, entertainment, and leadership at the fair, but what is most important to her is the education and competition aspects of today’s youth.

“We’re one of the largest counties in the state for number of 4H members, and then when you count in the younger clover kids, the FFA program in Indianola which is growing by leaps and bounds, and we are lucky to have a new FFA chapter growing with Martensdale-St. Mary’s, and Southeast Warren always has good participation. There are a number of families working hard, and this year should be a lot of fun.”

The entertainment on this year’s grandstand will include the Wright Rodeo on July 24th, Parks and Rec Day at the Fair, as well as the All-Star Monster Truck Tour on July 25th, the Midwest Pullers Association Tractor Pull on July 26th, and the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull on July 27th to wrap up the fair. The KNIA Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live updates each day from the Warren County Fair, as well as playing music and making announcements.
