While it has not been the kind of season the Knoxville Baseball Program is used to having, the Panthers have a great opportunity before them to surprise those who do not have Knoxville moving on very far in the class 3A district. Coach Matt Miller tells KRLS Sports they have to come into Friday’s first round class 3A district opener with North Polk with no pressure and play like they have nothing to lose. The Panthers and Comets are the nightcap of a double header in Alleman as Norwalk and Carlisle will be the opener at five. Knoxville and North Polk will play at around seven. Hear the call on 95.3 KNIA Friday at 6:45.
