Pella Christian advances to the Class 2A District 10 final tonight on the road back to State Center, when they take on No. 1 seed West Marshall. Both teams cruised in the semifinals — the Eagles took down PCM 8-1, while the hosts defeated rival East Marshall 11-1. Pella Christian played against the West Marshall Trojans in the 2nd game of the year, falling 11-1. Head Coach Jeff Bruxvoort says Pella Christian is a much improved team, and if they can continue the trends of good defense and timely hitting they’ve had late in the season, they have a great chance to compete and advance.
