Indianola Middle School students will be participating in an expanded technology based curriculum for the 2019/20 school year, with students in sixth and seventh grade receiving Google Chromebooks. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News the expanded technology curriculum is something that has been a success with students in the past, but the district wants to make sure that students are conducting themselves appropriately with the new technology. Sathoff also said the expanded technology curriculum does not mean the district will not have textbooks or traditional forms of education, but rather the district is adapting to new ways of educating.
