This evening from 4 pm to 7 pm the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics will host a 55+ Health Fair that will provide participants with complimentary health screenings and information from community organizations and hospital programs that offer services to support an individual’s health and lifestyle. The 55+ Health Fair will also feature a special presentation at 5:30 pm from the Senior Health Insurance Program or SHIIP representative, Sharon Fisch, who will discuss Medicare fraud and ways residents can protect themselves from scammers. Fisch will share information on ways people can protect, detect, and report Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse. The 55+ Health Fair will have complimentary refreshments as well as giveaways and drawings for door prizes. The event is free and open to the public.
