The PCM Baseball Squad went 17-5 this season and was good against schools bigger than the Mustangs. PCM went 7-4 against 3A competition, all four of those 3A loses against fellow Heart of Iowa Conference teams Gilbert and North Polk. PCM was also great against fellow 2A teams with a 10-1 record. Coach Jeff Lindsay tells KRLS Sports he was happy how the season played out even though they did not get to their ultimate destination. The Mustangs also set two team records this season as they had a team batting average of 333 and the pitching staff established a new low for opponents batting average at 178.
