Nearwood Winery and Vineyards will host an exhibit of local talent at the second annual Art & Authors Showcase. Winery guests will discover original paintings, photos, prints, drawings and jewelry created by Central Iowa artists and books written by members of the Marion County Writer’s Workshop on display and for sale. A few of the artists include Nash Cox, Nancy Hatch, Frank and Cheyenne Mathias, Tracy Russell, Lisa Clemens and more. Authors include Stephen Brayton, Ashley Lovell, Darlene Grace Miller and others. Attendees will be able to sip Iowa wine, enjoy art and books in the winery located at 1699 Hwy14. Food, beer and soft drinks will also be available. The exhibit will be available August 1st through the 16th for hours the winery is open as well as more information contact Nearwood Winery.
