Pella Christian’s athletic season kicked off with fireworks on the football field and the show stopping performance of the Eagles’ key playmaker lands at No. 8 on our countdown of the top moments of the past academic year.
The Noah Treimer Show: 2018 edition, kicked off with a remarkable individual performance to lift the Eagles over eventual 3A district champion and playoff qualifier Oskaloosa 51-33. Treimer scored four touchdowns four different ways — a pick-six, kickoff return, rushing, and receiving touchdown.
The Eagles would go on to the 1A playoffs, where they would qualify for the semifinals and a trip to the UNI Dome for the second consecutive season. Treimer was a 2nd team All-State football pick for his efforts as Pella Christian’s top playmaker, the second time he earned All-State honors.
