After a tough season that the Pleasantville Baseball Squad was not used to having, the final week proved to be one of the biggest highlights of the season and our number seven sports story for the Trojans during the 2018/2019 academic year. In a span of three days, on July eighth, ninth, and 11th the Trojans knocked off then #2 in 1A Martensdale-St Mary’s 7-6 on walk-off fashion, #5 in 1A Southeast Warren 11-7, and beat class 3A Bondurant-Farrar 7-6. Coach Sheldon Card told KNIA Sports those three games showed his team how far they have come in one season. The Trojans finished the season with an 18-17 record.
