The last day of Iowa’s Annual Sales Tax Holiday is today. Residents have until midnight tonight to take advantage of no sales tax, including local option sales tax, being collected on sales of an article of clothing or footwear having a selling price less than $100.00. Each year, the first Friday and Saturday of August the Iowa Department of Revenue has declared the weekend as the sales tax holiday. Businesses that are open during the weekend are required to participate.
