A ribbon cutting for the new all-inclusive playground at Pickard Park will be held today, hosted by Indianola Parks and Rec, the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, Indianola Kiwanis, and the Rotary Club of Indianola. Parks and Rec Director Doug Bylund tells KNIA News one of the best ways to determine the quality of life in a community is how much recreation they can provide to their residents, and this park says a lot about Indianola. Parents are encouraged to bring children to the ribbon cutting so they can try out the equipment. The ribbon cutting will take place at 4pm at Pickard Park.
