Central College will welcome its largest incoming class in five years with this fall’s group of 365 students. Vice President for Enrollment Carol Williamson says the 2019-20 school year includes 346 first-year students and 19 transfer students. She says the influx of students comes after development of new strategies following struggles for many schools in Iowa to recruit kids to campus. Classes for the fall semester begin Aug. 28, with new students arriving on campus Aug. 24 and returning students joining them on the 26th.
