indianola-3

Today we continue our top 10 countdown of the top moments of the 2018-19 school year with number three. The Indianola football team got off to a hot start in the 2018 season, beginning the season 6-0. No win was bigger early on in that season than when the Dodgers of #10 Fort Dodge High School made the trip south, boasting one of the top offenses in the state. The Indians got out to a 20-14 halftime lead, despite the Dodgers leading in many offensive categories, but the night belonged to Dylan Hildreth. He racked up 133 yards and four touchdowns on 30 attempts to wear out the Fort Dodge defense, as the Indians held on for a 27-21 upset win. Indianola made the playoffs in class 4A, falling to state runner-up Cedar Falls in the first round.
