Pella Christian’s Will Dembski earned 2nd team all state honors from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association. Dembski led Class 2A in home runs with 12 and was second in strikeouts as a pitcher with 106, primarily competing in the 3A Little Hawkeye Conference. Dembski helped lead the Eagles to their first substate game since 2005, combining with teammate Devin Haveman for a no-hitter to advance against West Marshall. He will play at Caltech in Pasadena, California next spring.
