The Pella School Board will hold a work session today to discuss community child care needs and how the school district fits into the solution. A presentation will be given about a potential Early Childhood Center for the Pella School District, and potential options for new construction or renovation of an existing facility in the city. The board will review a 10 year facility plan developed last summer and what child care needs currently exist in the Pella area. New board member Annette Smith will be sworn in at the beginning of the meeting, which begins at 4:30 p.m. today in the Pella High School Main Office Conference Room.
