Results have begun to pour in from the various competitions at the 2019 Iowa State Fair, with Indianola residents placing well. Winning first place in the Super Bull Competition was DLH Upward 122, the 2,710 pound Angus bull owned by DLH Angus of Indianola, as he outweighed the competition to win the contest judged last Thursday. In the Big Boar competition, a 6 year old Crossbred owned by Laurie Farms of Indianola earned a third place finish weighing in at 1170 pounds. The Big Boar and Super Bull winners will be on display in the Swine and Cattle Barns through the end of the Fair.
