The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. The board approved a Spanish trip request for March of 2021 to Costa Rica as well as approved a Spanish trip fundraiser to sell bracelets to raise money for the trip. They approved an overnight trip request for the varsity volleyball team to stay in Ft. Madison for a tournament in Keokuk this fall. The board approved the revised policy covering attendance of classes and instructional time, and approved the Student Handbook and Coach/Sponsor Handbook. They approved a contract with Iowa Net High Academy to establish and operate an Alternative Options Education School Program for the district. The board also approved courses for the Home School Assistance Program as well as dairy bids for the district for the 2019-2020 school year.
