There is a buzz around the Knoxville Volleyball Squad this season that there has not been in many seasons. The Panthers return nearly everyone from a team that went 17-15 last year, won the South Central Conference and took major steps to being more competitive with the better teams in class 4A. Head Coach Mollie Keitges tells KRLS Sports while they are not blessed with great height, they will need to be smart in how they play defense and offense. Another thing the coaching staff has identified is being very good at serving. The Panthers were one of the top teams in class 4A last season in serve efficiency at 941. The Panthers will open up the season with a quad hosting Ottumwa, Oskaloosa, and Carlisle on August 26th.
