The Knoxville Public Library will not open today as planned, according to Knoxville Public Library Board. The library, which was originally scheduled to open their newly remodeled and expanded building today has had delays in minor construction work including end panels for shelving, minor wiring, painting, and landscaping work. The Library Board hopes to have the Grand Opening and Ribbon-cutting ceremony as planned on Saturday, August 24th.
