A fundraiser is coming to support Pella High School’s award winning band programs. A mattress sale will be held on Saturday, August 17th at the Pella High School gym from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Erich Schmidt with Custom Fundraising Solutions says the organization sells new mattresses to raise funds for school programs, which has expanded to Iowa in the past year, raising thousands of dollars for other bands and arts departments.The funds will help support all of the school’s band programs, which includes the equipment and technology students use to perform throughout the school year.
