The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team was on the air briefly early Sunday morning for a Severe Thunderstorm Warning that produced some hail and heavy rain in the southeast portion of the county. Additional rainfall is a possibility Tuesday morning.
Summertime heat returns in the region early this week. According to the National Weather Service, daytime highs will top out near 90 degrees on Tuesday, with heat index values topping 100 in the afternoon and early evening hours.
