The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session today. The council will appoint John Gotta to the council and will administer the oath of office. They will consider a resolution to guarantee a local match of an estimated $71,387 for the state fiscal year 2020 funding application for the Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund. The council will consider approval for four different change orders for the Knoxville Public Library Expansion Project as well as consider approval of a site plan for construction of a personal storage shop building at 513 N. Brobst. They will also consider the approval of a site plan for Scooters Coffee to construct a 557 square foot drive thru coffee kiosk at 318 N. Lincoln as well as discuss and take possible action regarding the Fire Alarm Panel for the Knoxville Recreation Center. The meeting will begin at 6:15 pm inside the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
