The Pleasantville volleyball team saw some tough times last season, finishing with a record of 4-19. The Trojans finished with only one conference win in their first season in the West Central Conference. More familiarity with the league and three returning starters has head coach Joel
Allman believing that his team can have a much better season this year. The Trojans as a team put in a lot of work during the offseason, and Allman says they can use that as a springboard into the new season.
The team leaders in both digs and kills return this season. Pleasantville has five seniors on this year’s roster. The Trojans will open the season at Earlham on August 27th, with their home opener two days later against defending league champion Des Moines Christian.
