Pella Convention & Visitors Bureau Executive Director Jill Vandevoort stepped into the role of the 2019-2020 President of the Central Iowa Tourism Region Board of Directors. Vandevoort has been involved in state and local tourism since 1990 and served as Director of the Pella CVB for nearly 14 years. Throughout her career, Vandevoort has participated in both regional and state-wide tourism. Vandevoort will serve a one-year term. This marks the third time in her Tourism Industry tenure to serve as President of the Central Iowa Region. Central Iowa Tourism Region is a non-profit organization that works closely with counties, communities, attractions, events and tourism businesses on tourism development and marketing initiatives. The Central Region encompasses a 35-county area between the Minnesota and Missouri borders.
