The Knoxville Hospital and Clinics have announced that Dr. Earl McKeever will be retiring in November. Dr. McKeever has written an open letter to the Knoxville community. 

“Since May 1, 1963, I have enjoyed serving the Knoxville community for more than 56 years. On November 7, 2019, I will begin a new chapter when I retire from the practice of medicine. My Knoxville Hospital & Clinics colleagues are some of the best physicians I have had the privilege to work alongside. I will be glad  to assist my patients in identifying a provider who will care for them as much as I have.

I appreciate the many benefits of life in this community. More significantly, I am grateful  for the feelings of trust, warmth and friendship which exist between my patients and myself. These will last beyond retirement. I will miss the “doctor” part of this relationship. God bless you all!”
