With practice underway, the Simpson College football team has two new coaches on the staff, as George Love and Braedon Tovey join the program. Love will serve as the defensive coordinator and Tovey as the special teams coordinator. Love spent the past three seasons as the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach with Angelo State University, while Tovey was coaching at Hastings College and played for the Storm from 2013-2015 throwing for 363 yards and had a 54.5 completion percentage, and rushed for two touchdowns.
