A planning meeting including the Warren County Board of Supervisors and elected city officials from around the county will take place next week discussing how to move forward on the Warren County Justice Center Project. Board Chair Crystal McIntyre tells KNIA News that the construction consultants DCI and architect firm Shive Hattery have indicated it will be impossible for the building to be built at that location within the current budget, and she would like input from across the county as it affects everyone. McIntyre also said that the public is invited to attend the event, however input will be taken from elected budget decision makers throughout the county and not the public at this particular meeting. A meeting for the public to weigh in will take place at a later date. The meeting will take place at Norwalk City Hall on August 27th at 6pm.
