Dr. Joe Sanfelippo spoke to Knoxville community members Thursday evening  at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. Dr. Sanfelippo, a Superintendent of the Fall Creek School District in Fall Creek, Wisconsin was presented to the community on behalf of Thrive Knoxville and the Knoxville Community School District. Dr. Sanfelippo has been a featured speaker in multiple states in the areas of Advancing the Use of Social Media for School Leaders, Telling Your School Story and Creating a Culture of Yes. He spoke to the Knoxville crowd about ways to enhance the Knoxville community and how it’s ok for the city and school district to celebrate its accomplishments and be proud to tell their story. He says if more people talk about the great stuff going on in the school district and in the community the better chance Knoxville will have of changing the way other people talk about the things being done. Dr. Sanfelippo also spoke with Knoxville students on Friday as the district welcomed back students to the first day of school.
