With a new coach, comes a new philosophy on how to run the offense. New Melcher-Dallas Football Coach Pat Ferguson is looking to take advantage of the athlete the quarterback Steven Krpan is. Ferguson tells KNIA Sports Krpan may be the slash of the team due to his athleticism, plus with Krpan being a junior and playing quarterback last year, has helped his maturity. Last season as a sophomore, Krpan threw for 651 yards and ran for 116. The Saints take on Seymour/Moulton-Udell next Friday in the season opener.
