The Pleasantville volleyball team experienced some growing pains last year, finishing with a record of 4-19. In their first season in the West Central Conference, they only went 1-9. With some of the top talent returning this year and more familiarity with the new league, Head Coach Joel Allman believes his team should be able to compete much better this season.
Sam Entinger led the team with 181 kills last year and is one of five seniors on this year’s roster. Breanna Benge had 181 digs last year to lead the team and returns for her junior season. The Trojans get their season started on August 27th at Earlham. The home opener is August 29th against defending conference champion Des Moines Christian.
