Indianola Hometown Pride is partnering with Simpson College to host a local service organization fair, allowing both Simpson College students and the public to see what Indianola has to offer. Emmett Konrad with Indianola Hometown Pride tells KNIA News Simpson has had an event available for incoming students, and they were gracious enough to allow the public to join the event later on. Konrad also said one of the goals of the group is to create more public engagement in the community, so this provides an excellent opportunity to see what is out there. The organization fair takes place on Monday, with the incoming freshman from 9:30 to 11:15am, with the public invited to attend from 11:15 to noon.
