Indianola Hometown Pride and Simpson College held a joint service fair Monday, allowing local volunteer organizations to recruit new members amongst Simpson College students and the general public. Bri Vaughn with Indianola Hometown Pride tells KNIA News Hometown Pride aims to be a hub for all the local service organizations to contact when they are in need of volunteers, so this event was a great networking opportunity.

“One of our goals is really for other organizations around town to find volunteers, so putting this together to share opportunities of not only our activities but other organizations as well, and getting those Simpson College students involved with their service requirements is huge for us.”
