The Knoxville Volleyball Squad pulled the sweep in its own quad on Monday night defeating Carlisle 25-22 and 25-12, Oskaloosa 26-24…18-25 and 15-ten, and Ottumwa 24-26, 25-16…and 15-8. The Panthers got great contributions from all the way around and held their own when things got tough, something Coach Mollie Keitges was very impressed with. In the Carlisle match Katie Keitges got 12 kills and Amy Sullivan was 12/12 serving with four aces. Against Oskaloosa Tara Uitermarkt had a big match with nine kills and there blocks while Maggie Wilkins had 29 digs, and against Ottumwa Melanie Sullivan went 15/17 serving with four aces. Knoxville begins the season at 3-0 and will travel to the Newton Invitational tonight.
