Today marks the first day of the 2019-2020 school year at Pleasantville, and along with it comes the volleyball season opener this evening. The Trojans will start with a conference game when they travel to Earlham, a team they went 0-2 against last year.

It’s the second season for Pleasantville as a member of the West Central Activities Conference. The Trojans went 1-9 and finished 10th in the 11-team league last year. With more familiarity and better acclimation to the competition they’ll face, the Trojans are confident that this season will be more successful than last.

The first serve between the Trojans and Cardinals is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Earlham High School.
