The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board approved a resolution to designate certain highways to permit the operation of all-terrain and off-road utility vehicles for the Seeds of Hope Foundation Ranger Ride and Poker Run. They held a discussion regarding a vehicle replacement local funding match request from HIRTA, after which they instructed representatives from HIRTA to gather information regarding the number of riders per city and the unincorporated areas of Marion County. The board received and filed the Marion County Treasurer’s 2018-2019 Annual Report as well as held a closed session to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent with no action being taken.
