The Knoxville Music Boosters are preparing for another year of competitions and fundraising ventures. The boosters will hold their annual car wash fundraiser from 9 am to noon at Motor Inn in Knoxville on Saturday, September 14th.  President of the Knoxville Music Boosters Shannen Cahill tells KNIA/KRLS News the car wash is always a fun event. She says the kids always enjoy washing the cars as well as spraying everyone including the adults with water. Cahill says the car wash is also a great way for the boosters to raise money for new equipment as well as events throughout the year. Any Middle School and High School Band or Choir students and their parents can volunteer to help with the car wash. The event helps the music boosters raise funds for all of the K-12 music programs.
