The first ever Seeds of Hope Foundation Ranger Ride and Poker Run is just over a week away. The ride will be held Sunday, September 8th from 11 am to 3 pm. The Seeds of Hope Foundation operates in memory of Chasen Stevenson who lost his life at 31 years of age from an aggressive and rare cancer. The Seeds of Hope Foundation’s mission is to support other young farm families who have a family member diagnosed with long term illnesses. The ride will begin at the little league ball fields in Pleasantville. The route will take riders to Melcher and Milo, and will give riders a chance to put together their poker hand. The Marion County Cattlemen will have lunch available for purchase on the Melcher square, with games and additional fundraisers held along the way. If anyone wishes to take part in the ride but does not have an ATV, there will be a party bus available for those who want to participate but don’t have any means of off-road transportation. Tickets to ride the bus will be available for purchase on the day of the ride.
