This Saturday, September 7th the 2nd annual Your Life Matters 5k will be held at the Knoxville High School from 7 am to 10 am. Last year, the run featured over 500 participants and raised over $15,000 for suicide prevention awareness. Proceeds from this year’s 5k will go towards scheduling mental health speaker Jeff Yeldon, who will visit Knoxville September 30th through October 1st to speak with the community as well as Knoxville students.. This year’s run will feature guest speakers Austin Little and Mary Neubauer. Registration is $20 for adults and $15 for anyone 17 years of age and younger.
