The PCM volleyball team traveled to State Center on Saturday to take part in the West Marshall Tournament. Unfortunately for the Mustangs, they were not able to win a set, going 0-2 in the tournament.

PCM opened the day against #13 in 1A BCLUW. The Mustangs couldn’t gain any sort of momentum, falling 21-8, 21-11. No Mustang had more than one kill in the match.

In their second match of the day, PCM took on the #12 team in 2A, Grundy Center. It was a similar script in this one, as the Spartans took the match 21-9, 21-13.

PCM drops to 2-4 overall after Saturday’s action. They’ll have most of the week to rest up before a match at Des Moines North on Thursday.
