A week from today applications are due for anyone interested in taking part in this fall’s Knoxville Leadership Academy. Knoxville Assistant City Manager Heather Ussery tells KNIA/KRLS News interested individuals can find the application on the city’s Facebook page as well as website, or they can stop in and pick one up at City Hall. As of last week, five spots were still available for this fall’s academy. The Academy gives residents the opportunity to learn more about city departments as well as some responsibilities of city officials. The Academy will begin on Tuesday, September 17th and is free to participate.
