The Pella City Council will continue zoning work at their meeting today. Council will hold public hearings to consider a text amendment to sign regulations in the community, and a rezoning of two adjacent lots along Idaho Drive from single-family residential to rural residential. Council will also consider a loan agreement for upcoming wastewater improvements and review the final contract for several asphalt surfacing projects completed in Pella earlier this summer. Following regular business, council will receive a presentation of a concept plan from Harvest Investments, review the solid waste contract extension with Midwest Sanitation, and discuss a right-of-way licensing agreement with Windstream during Policy and Planning. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. today in the Public Safety Complex.
