The Indianola volleyball team hosted Norwalk to open Little Hawkeye Conference play Tuesday evening for their home opener, taking the Warriors to five games winning 3-2. Game one was a close affair with the Indians falling 25-23, the Indians then fell behind in game two early and couldn’t mount a close comeback falling 25-7 to fall down 2-0. The comeback started there however, as the Indians calmed down in game three to claim some momentum with a 25-14 victory, and game four brought the Indians back even with a 25-14 victory, setting up the pivotal fifth set where the Indians won 15-10 to take the set. The Indians move to 1-0 in LHC play, and 7-3 overall. They will next play at Pella on Tuesday.
